I discovered Laureate recently - and quite by accident - I
was visiting some friends who are as fantaical about movies as I am. They played the DVD of MEET JOHN DOE and I was knocked sideways. This is one of the most elegant DVD productions I've ever seen - and I've got a good many Criterion U.S. releases.

Since then, I've bought four more Laureate DVDs. One of the most attractive features on all of them has been the audio commentaries by Ken Barnes. Naturally, I'm looking forward to the new DVD of CITIZEN KANE.
