We at Laureate would like to express our thanks to all of the people who have written in praising the new DVD Special Edition of Orson Welles' "Citizen Kane." Of the dozens of e-mails and messages we have received, there has not been one dissenting voice.

We are pleased that our hard work on behalf of such a great film has been so appreciated. I'd like to point out the great contribution of the British Film Institute,The BBC, the UCLA archives (Los Angeles),Phoenix Video and Arian facilities of Denham who did the brilliant restoration work and,of course, Universal Pictures (UK) who commissioned the project and have done such a brilliant job of packaging and marketing.
