From the tone of this subject, it would seem that someone in one of the big companies does not believe in audio commentaries and extras. This could only be someone who does not like movies. All I can say to Ken Barnes is don't listen to them. Keep up the good work that has earned you your reputation.
Looking forward to the next set of DVDs.

Is it really true that a certain executive in a certain company wants to abolish audio commentaries ?
It sounds to me like somebody's in the wrong job.To do away with audio commentaries and extras shows a lack of consideration for the film buff and a lack of common sense.
The Ken Barnes-Laureate presentation of "Holiday Inn" is one of the best DVDs I've ever seen or heard. This is the one of the best arguments I can think of against such executive lunacy. |

To all of Laureate's friends.
When I asked for your feelings - for and against - on audio commentaries and extras, I never expect such a flood of
answers. Apart from the ones on the message board, we've also been inundated e-mails phone calls and even Christmas cards. The reaction in every case was positive. Not a single negative reaction.
Thank you - Thank you - Thank you one and all.
I'm overwhelmed !
